The Homebase is promoting a mega integrated campaign in the UK, as its name implies, will transform the nation.
The campaign in question is " Transform The Nation "and had a TV commercial released yesterday, 7. The idea is to position the brand as the best way to decorate and transform an environment. The video shows a real transformation going on at Carlisle Railway Station. Were applied over 260 meters of wallpaper, 1800 liters of paint, more than 40 kitchen sets and 1,500 meters of carpets and floors. The result is wonderful and is very nice to see people's reactions to arrive. The goal is to show that any room can become warm and comfortable with the products of Homebase.
The campaign also has an online competition where the public will choose the next community that will invert, using social networking to promote themselves. The project is responsible for the Leo Burnett London. The Independent and the production is directed by Philippe Andre.
The most puzzling thing of all is the similarity (which is actually identical to) the idea shown by Fresh Meadow last year .
