Boutiques.com | Google enters the market with fashion clothes shop that recommends users

November 17, 2010 | Fashion , Web | 1 Comment

And then they say that Google does not want to rule the world ...

In August, when Google bought the site Like.com for $ 100 million, few imagined the real reason for the acquisition. But today the company unveiled the result of the purchase price, bringing to market the Boutiques.com.

According to the site itself, the Boutiques.com is a personalized shopping experience, brought to you by Google that lets you find and discover fashion items through a number of shops divided by themes - celebrities, stylists, designers and fashion bloggers. Boutiques uses visual technology to help discover the store appearance and creates the opportunity for designers to showcase their collections and latest inspirations online, helping users find the clothes fit your personal taste.

The page provides a learning technology "to visually analyze your taste and match the items you would like," Google said in its blog. Based on a search technology developed by Like.com - a company acquired by the seeker in April this year - Boutiques.com thinks like a visual search engine as well as a social network of clothing.

Although you can not try on clothes virtually, the site allows you to make a filter of the pieces based on their favorite brands, and patterns of fabrics, colors and silhouettes. You can also view items from collections made by hand by fashionistas known - what Google calls "taste-makers" - as the actress Anna Paquin (True Blood series) and Maggie Q (Nikita series and the movie Mission Impossible 3) and designers like Isaac Mizrahi and Christian Siriano.

The Boutiques.com can also create a custom user store. If he wants to buy something online by clicking on a garment, it will be sent to third party sites like Bluefly store as Endless.com, where the acquisition of the item can be made.

How will the site? See below:

Want to become a plaything of women? The Jack & Jones helps you ...

October 15, 2010 | Fashion , Advertising | 1 Comment

This fantastic new campaign for Jack & Jones promoting her new line of jackets.

" Become a Girl Toy "comes up with a really cool video where a guy shows how it has always been abused by women who simply do toy. The chase, use, abuse, and then simply cast aside. All very carnal. It's hilarious how the video deals with the situation by reversing the roles and showing that women can also be unfeeling and dogs. And Jack & Jones helps you if you want them to be that toy ...

The creation of the agency's Danish & Co., directed by Martin Ahmund.
