
When Lexus launched its first hybrid car in 2004, the status of persons need not be "updated", the song had not yet been established, people were more mobile than fixed phones and wi-fi almost nonexistent. Now Lexus already has 190,000 hybrid cars running around the world and that, together, have traveled more than 5.5 billion miles.
Focusing on this concept and with this background information, Lexus launches for the first time in its history, a campaign focused on all its four models of hybrid cars: RX 400h, GS 450h, LS 600h and the HS250h (the CT 200h that was announced recently missed out).
"Milestones," the new TV spot that gives start the campaign, shows thousands of Lexus Hybrids walking and drawings forming while the story is told. The video debuts March 6, and the campaign will have the support of print, online banners and billboards, as well as shares in online channels, such as Current TV.
